KANDA กาน - ดา }

" แด่ผู้เป็นที่รัก "

There are two memory stages which are short-term memory and long-term memory. Humans are living things that can record memories better than other animals, but even so, we are unable to remember the small details in our memories at all. For example, we disremember the colors of a shoe we wore last month or we disremember the menu we ordered three days ago.
.
Memory is one of a place that keeps many stories of memorable people. Even though their bodies do not exist, it does not mean we cannot meet them again. They are still remaining in our memories. Even in a form of small fragments of memories, if we lost those fragments, this would really mean they are gone forever.
.
“Kanda” is a project that uses the long exposures technique to create photos that reflects my imagination of memories. It represents the small fragments of my memories that have my family in it father, mother, and sister through places where we have spent time together. And the word “Kanda” is the name of my mother.

It means “a beloved woman” in Thai.
.
The reason I use her name as the name of this project is that I hope my work “Kanda” will remind you that spending more time with family and beloved ones is important.
